For clients
How do I bring my clinician onto Synapse Cura?
Open My care team and create an invite link, then send it to them. Each link works once. If your clinician gave you a link instead, just open it while signed in.
Is Synapse Cura for emergencies or hospital care?
No. Synapse Cura supports care between appointments with a therapist or doctor, whatever your diagnosis. It is not an emergency service and nobody watches it in real time; if you might be in danger, call 112 or the crisis line for your country, shown under Help now.
Who can see my record?
Only clinicians on your care team, and only what you chose to share with each of them. Every time a clinician opens your record you can see it in My record.
Why can't I remove a clinician straight away?
Depending on your care level, a change may wait a few days so your team can write a handover, or may need your lead clinician or guardian to agree. You always see why. If you don't feel safe with someone, use “I don't feel safe with this person” — their access pauses immediately.
Why are some practice steps locked?
Some practices are best learned with a practitioner. You can read about every practice; the steps open when a practitioner prescribes one to you.
Something in my record is wrong. Can I change it?
Entries are never edited, so the history stays trustworthy. You can add your own context next to any entry, and ask the clinician to write a correction. You can also send a correction request from Me.
Can I download or delete my data?
Download your whole record from My record. For deletion or any other data right, send a request from Me — we reply within one month.
For families and guardians
I'm a parent or legal guardian. How do I take part?
The person you look after (or their clinician) invites you as a guardian. A clinician confirms your role in person before you can act — we never ask you to upload documents. From 14 a young person decides together with you; at 18 a parent's role ends. Guardians appointed by a court act within what the court decided.
What does a support circle see?
Only the level the person chose — such as their emergency profile or a signal that they need support. Never notes, diaries or scores.
For clinicians
How do I get access?
Apply from the clinician workspace with your licence number and professional register. We check the register by hand and record what we checked before approving.
How do I join a client's team?
The client invites you, or you create an invitation and send them its link. If the client has a lead clinician or guardian, they agree first. Colleagues you suggest join only once the client approves.
Can I add my own exercises?
Yes. Write them in the Library and keep them private, or submit them to the community library — a review panel checks each one first. You can also request exercises you'd like to see.
Does Synapse Cura replace my own clinical records?
No. Synapse Cura is for coordination with the client and their team. Keep your own records as your profession and the law require.
